I want to buy DVD player. Which is cheap and best ,and equipped with latest technologies?

I want to buy DVD player of latest technique. I want to know new added features. It must be affordable in price and of good quality. Write me tips ,so that i will make best available deal. I live in India,Delhi. Please guide me. Some body told me that we can also have pen-drive facility in it.I want to play MP3, CD, VCD etc … What are the precautions while choosing DVD player

Your question confuses me somewhat. There isn't much new re DVD players (although Toshiba offer players with advanced edge enhancement (called XDE) that offer some benefit .. at a price. The next generation disk players support an HD alternative to DVD called Blu-ray. While you can get an upscaling DVD player (e.g. from Phillips, Sony, Samsung, Toshiba) you may wish to consider Blu-ray.

Blu-ray players play DVD (but upscale them to pseudo high definition (HD=720p or more)), but are mainly intended to play Blu-ray disks … a 1080p HD video disk with "better than DVD" audio. While you can buy a DVD player, Blu-ray players have fallen enough in price that it makes sense to consider one even if you intend to play mainly DVDs.

The Blu-ray format is more expensive than DVD, and only makes sense if you have an HD display (i.e. HDTV or HD projector). It also really needs a good surround audio system to take advantage of the HD audio.

Blu-ray players are region coded, so a player sold in India will not play US or UK region coded disks. Not all disks are region locked though.

There are many different players (and more all the time). The most flexible require an Internet connection to enable extra features (like on-line access to updates, extra disk features and streaming video).

Some players — like the PS3 — not only play disks, but also games and act as media centres. Some accept USB thumb drives for access to music, photos and video.

DVD upscaling ability varies, so if you have or will play lots of DVDs take this into account when choosing.

I suggest you do some reading and select based on what models are available in India (warranty and region coding issues).
